Responsibilities
- Circulate in the CVOR and scrub as applicable for vascular, ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and select neuro cases; circulator is required, scrub experience preferred
- Prepare the operative field, assist with case setup, patient positioning, and equipment management; maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
- Start IVs, assist with patient transport as needed, and collaborate with anesthesia and scrub staff to support intraoperative workflow
- Manage documentation in the EPIC system and adhere to unit protocols and patient safety standards
- Support case turnover, equipment readiness, and adherence to vascular-focused procedural guidelines
- Respond to intraoperative needs and participate in on-call and weekend coverage as scheduled

Requirements
- Licensure: Current New York licensure (Surgical Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist as applicable)
- Certifications: BLS required; NBSTSA certification or equivalent required; Surgical Tech Certification Verification – Champlain (Equivalency) accepted
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical OR experience; 2 years in the CVOR/specialty setting; prior travel experience preferred
- Skills: Vascular procedural skills are a must; solid knowledge across orthopedics, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro cases; strong EPIC documentation skills
- Environment: Ability to work in a hospital OR environment with float duties, on-call nights, and weekend rotation as scheduled; nurse-patient ratio 1:1
