Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Open Payment Framework, Wires, and ACH (Automated Clearing House) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing business requirements, designing efficient payment processes, and collaborating with cross functional teams to drive successful implementation. The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing our payment systems and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and quality assurance teams, to gather and document detailed business requirements related to Open Payment Framework, Wires, and ACH systems.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing payment processes and systems to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
• Utilize domain knowledge and technical expertise to translate business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications and technical documentation.
• Lead the development of process flows, use cases, and user stories to effectively communicate requirements to development and technical teams.
• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring effective communication, alignment of objectives, and successful project execution.
• Provide subject matter expertise to guide and advise development teams in designing and implementing solutions that align with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring the quality and accuracy of implemented solutions.
• Conduct regular status updates and project meetings to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Open Payment Framework, Wires, and ACH systems, working closely with technical teams and external partners as needed.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in payment technologies, and incorporate relevant insights into the development and enhancement of payment systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (10+ years) as a Business Analyst in the financial industry, specifically with expertise in Open Payment Framework, Wires, and ACH systems.
• Strong understanding of payment processing workflows, transaction lifecycles, and industry regulations (e.g., NACHA rules for ACH transactions).
• Proficiency in creating comprehensive technical documentation, including process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non technical stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
