Work Authorization: OPT and H-1B candidates preferred.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience in product design and development. The ideal candidate should have strong CAD skills, experience with manufacturing processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or Inventor).
- Create detailed 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Perform design modifications based on customer and manufacturing requirements.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product validation.
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to ensure successful product development.
- Apply GD&T, DFM, and DFA principles in product designs.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, or Autodesk Inventor.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal, weldments, machining, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
