At CJ Schwan’s, we’re fueled by innovation. As a Senior Portfolio Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving visibility, governance, and performance across our new product innovation pipeline. Partnering with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, you'll transform portfolio data into actionable insights, strengthen our Stage-Gate process, and help bring great products to market faster and more effectively. What You Will Do Lead management and reporting of the new product portfolio, providing insights, metrics, and recommendations that support strategic business decisions. Own portfolio systems and data, including Planview and portfolio databases, ensuring accurate project tracking, reporting, and process compliance. Develop KPI dashboards, executive reports, and ad hoc analyses that measure portfolio performance across brands, channels, and business units. Partner with stakeholders across R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to provide portfolio updates and support business planning activities. Drive adoption and continuous improvement of the New Product Development and Stage-Gate processes through training, documentation, and best practices. Identify opportunities to improve portfolio management capabilities, reporting effectiveness, and innovation processes through internal and external benchmarking. What We Look For Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in portfolio management, project management, business analytics, product development, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations. Experience managing portfolio management, project management, or reporting systems, with advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Access, and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Stage-Gate, New Product Development, or similar project governance methodologies. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience delivering training and executive-level reporting. What We Offer: The base salary range for this position is $83,000 to $139,000 annually, with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
