Sales and Service Billing Specialist - req1669 OVERVIEW Join our dynamic team as a Sales and Service Billing Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in the order entry, change orders, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes. Your expertise will help us efficiently resolve booking and billing issues, contributing to our overall success. RESPONSIBILITIES Convert approved quotes into orders using Oracle, ensuring adjustments and verification of order financials for precision and accuracy. Thoroughly review change orders and make necessary adjustments to uphold accuracy. Amend sales orders to reflect approved changes and manage re-invoicing as needed. Process billing for customers in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the orders. Recognize revenue in compliance with CMSU policies to ensure financial integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and effectively resolve any sales order-related issues. Organize and maintain customer documentation electronically for easy access and review. Work independently while handling issues as they arise, escalating only the most complex matters to senior staff. Audit Service Requests closed by Field Service Engineers or Area Service Managers to confirm accurate billing and adherence to compliance regulations. Partner with Service management to minimize concessions and enhance overall service billing accuracy. Provide necessary backup information for audit requests as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with sales teams along with familiarity in CRM or ERP systems (preferred). Strong PC skills, particularly in MS Word and Excel. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment. Sound judgment, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Associate's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. A minimum of 2 years' experience working alongside Sales and Service teams. Familiarity with Oracle and Salesforce is highly preferred but not mandatory. Salary Information: Minimum Salary $56,600 to Maximum Salary $101,900 (annual equivalents); based on experience.
