• Location: Coos Bay, OR Bay Area Hospital (127 beds, Level III Trauma)
• Start Date: Negotiable
• End Date/Duration: Permanent
• Shift: Monday Friday, 8 am 5 pm, sharing call with weekend echo rotation
• Hours/Week: 40
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• License/Certifications: Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology, Oregon Medical License preferred
• Experience: BE/BC cardiologist, nuclear and echo certification strongly preferred

What You'll Do:

• Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology consultations
• Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, nuclear imaging, and stress tests
• Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and cardioversion
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Manage cardiac rehab patients and review treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on health and prevention strategies
• Document all clinical interactions accurately within electronic medical records
• Participate in hospital and cardiology service line meetings
• Support outreach services to nearby hospitals as needed

What You Need:

• Required: Oregon medical license, BE/BC in cardiology, nuclear and echo certification preferred
• Experience: 3+ years in cardiology practice
• Key Skills: Interpretation of diagnostic tests, collaborative team player, effective communicator, flexible to outreach demands
• Preferred: Experience with TEE, stress testing, and outpatient management
