Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your advanced training and clinical knowledge to conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and formulate independent diagnoses for patients.

• Collaborate effectively with patients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and goals.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to, solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving treatment, adjusting approaches as appropriate based on client progress.

• Facilitate communication and coordination among various healthcare stakeholders, including primary care providers, psychologists within Walmart Health & Wellness, and other service providers to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

• Continuously track treatment responses and patient progress, using both virtual and in-person interaction to ensure accountability and support towards achieving treatment objectives.

• Provide oversight for psychotropic medication management as directed by medical practitioners, with a focus on assisting patients with treatment adherence and monitoring any potential side effects.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse patient population, many of whom come from underserved communities in the Plano area and beyond. You will engage with individuals who face varying mental health challenges, necessitating a culturally competent and empathetic approach. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently in mental health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n
