Role Description The Commission Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Sarasota, FL. This position is responsible for engaging walk-in and scheduled customers, understanding their project needs, and recommending suitable tile and stone products from the company’s portfolio. Day-to-day tasks include presenting product options, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. The Commission Sales Associate builds and maintains relationships with contractors, designers, and homeowners, follows up on leads, and actively seeks new sales opportunities. The role also involves maintaining showroom displays, staying informed about product trends, and using basic computer tools to manage customer information and sales documentation. Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships and communicate clearly with a diverse range of clients. Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience working in commission-based or target-driven environments. Basic computer and office software proficiency (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or POS systems) to manage quotes, orders, and customer records. Visual and design awareness to help customers select styles, colors, and finishes that match their project requirements. Ability to learn and retain product knowledge related to tile, stone, and installation applications. Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with attention to accuracy in pricing and order details. High level of reliability and professionalism, with the ability to work on-site during standard business hours and occasional weekends as needed.
