Role snapshot
- Hands-on, multi-craft maintenance in an industrial, food-production environment
- Keep conveyors and automation equipment running with minimal downtime
- Partner closely with a newer production team; perform PMs during live operations to meet quotas
- Diagnose and repair mechanical systems: gearboxes, motors, belt drives
- Troubleshoot industrial equipment; advanced troubleshooting experience is a major advantage
- Work confidently around PLCs (Allen‑Bradley), VFDs, and Fanuc robots
- Support conveyors and automation systems inside and outside the facility
- Perform approximately 25% of duties outdoors and at heights due to external conveyors and hoppers
- Execute preventive maintenance during runtime to sustain long production runs
- Industrial barn–like workspace: well ventilated and generally clean
- Expect dust from dry food production; floors are free of oil and standing liquids
- FDA-regulated operation requiring adherence to cleanliness standards
- Some tasks occur outdoors at elevation on conveyors, motors, and hoppers feeding the mill
