IT Support SpecialistWalton, Ky - Walton, KY 41094OverviewLevel: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Travel Percentage: Negligible Category: Information TechnologyDescriptionThe IT Support team maintains the computer networks of our organization, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly.Perform related duties as assigned by supervisorRespond quickly to computer security issuesInstalling and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scannersMonitoring and maintaining computer systems and networksResponding in a timely manner to service issues and requestsTroubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faultsPrioritize and manage many open cases at one timeSetting up accounts for new users and deal with password issuesDeleting accounts for terminated employeesRepairing and replacing equipment as necessaryTesting new technologyMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresProject ManagementQualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employeesExcellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)Experience with industry-related applications, including: VMware, Citrix, Cisco, Microsoft Server, Crowdstrike, Mimecast, Active Directory, Veeam preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of the following software would be helpful: Crystal Reports, SQL, Procede Software, ZOHO CRM, DTNA Dealership productsMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesHigh school diploma or GED requiredBachelor's degree preferred3+ years of IT support experience requiredPhysical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbsMust be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
