Duties

Help

• Plan, execute, and manage real estate in-leases in accordance with General Service Administration (GSA) or Army authorities.
• Coordinate lease requirements with internal and external stakeholders to confirm proper requirements to be incorporated into solicitations for offers.
• Prepare market surveys, solicitations for offers, lease contracts, and other supporting documentation in accordance with applicable federal laws, policies, and regulations.
• Negotiate with potential lessors to achieve best value contracts on behalf of the government.
• Manage leases to ensure monthly payments are processed, respond to requests for emergency repairs and routine upgrades, and ensure the Real Estate information systems are accurately updated and maintained.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized experience One year of specialized experience which includes applying knowledge of directives, laws, policies, and regulations relating to Federal and Army real estate procedures associated with the planning, execution, and management of real property leases; communicating effectively with internal/external stakeholders; and/or coordination of leasing requirements with military and civilian officials within the Department of Defense. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
