About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Sales for its Cold Storage division. This executive will be tasked with leading the development and growth of a nationwide sales organization, with a focus on establishing the division as a recognized national provider in the food processing and cold storage construction market. The role is pivotal in driving the sales strategy, building a national pipeline, and fostering relationships with key industry stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process, from opportunity identification to contract award, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful transition of projects from sales to execution. Candidates for the VP of Sales position should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive sales and business development experience in commercial construction, design-build, or related industries. The ideal candidate will have an established network within the food processing and cold storage sectors, a strong understanding of design-build construction, and the ability to sell complex capital projects. Key responsibilities include market development, sales team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in national business development, strong financial acumen, and the ability to influence the company's long-term growth strategy. The VP of Sales will be measured on various performance indicators, including annual sales targets, pipeline development, and the success of the sales team.
