Make a difference supporting students’ communication needs through an engaging contract opportunity. An SLPA is needed to collaborate closely with a remote SLP, serving a diverse caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school students. The role covers three buildings and a mixture of individual and group therapy sessions. This setting allows you to partner with an experienced clinician and directly impact learners at various developmental stages.

You’ll work with approximately 41 students (numbers may shift), delivering 55 thirty-minute treatment sessions each week—16 individual and 37 group sessions—providing interventions tailored to student needs. This position totals 35 hours each week, making it ideal for those seeking a predictable, full-time schedule during the school year. Please note, in accordance with union regulations, the district retains the right to offer the position internally and will inform of any changes in placement status.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA license
• Schools-based experience or strong interest in a school setting
• Comfort collaborating on a shared caseload with a Tele SLP
• Flexibility and adaptability across elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Facilitate both group and individual therapy sessions
• Communicate regularly with supervising Tele SLP about student progress
• Maintain accurate records and assist in developing necessary documentation
• Adjust support strategies as student needs evolve
