Accountant Location: Vero Beach, FL Schedule: Hybrid Employment Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 per year About the Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Vero Beach, FL. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong understanding of general accounting principles, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) who enjoys working across multiple areas of the accounting function. The Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, assist with reconciliations, and work within customer and vendor contract portals, including Aruba and Coupa . This is a direct-hire, hybrid opportunity offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to take on a broad range of accounting responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day general accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, including invoices, coding, approvals, and payments Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including invoicing, cash application, account reconciliation, and follow-up on outstanding balances Prepare and post journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance Perform account and bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end close activities Review financial transactions for accuracy and proper documentation Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation Work within contract and procurement portals, including Aruba and Coupa Monitor invoices, purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation Assist with reporting and financial analysis as needed Communicate with internal departments, vendors, and customers regarding accounting-related questions Identify discrepancies and assist with resolving accounting issues Support process improvements and other accounting projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred 2+ years of accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of general accounting principles Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger activities Experience working with Aruba and/or Coupa preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team If you're an accounting professional looking for a broad role where you can utilize your AP, AR, and general accounting experience, we'd love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr TalentBridge
