Physician Liaison

The Physician Liaison is responsible for developing and growing relationships with physician practices, independent health care providers, and the physician staff. We are seeking a motivated Physician Liaison to join our Kansas City, MO team. This field-based position serves as the primary connection between Giving Home Health Care, our patients, and their healthcare providers. The ideal candidate combines medical-office knowledge with strong relationship-building and sales skills. This individual must be comfortable meeting with physicians and clinical staff, attending patient appointments, communicating persuasively, managing a high volume of paperwork, and following requests through to completion. This position requires independence, consistent follow-up, local and regional travel, and a strong commitment to achieving measurable results. Responsibilities Contact physician offices and demonstrating the highest level of customer service and respect to build a partnership with a physician that patients may be referred to. Learn program policies and procedures, billing processes, and other functions of Giving Home Health Care. Provide information and training to medical offices. Perform daily prospecting, rapport building, and conducting follow ups. Develop outreach strategies and target lists to manage/document ongoing physician outreach activity. Continually develop medical knowledge to effectively engage with healthcare professionals. Communicate urgency to physicians to assess patients and start process to have illnesses approved or declined for program.
