As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transit location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support riders, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $29.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior through proper channels.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel during routine operations, special events, and service disruptions while following post orders and location-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
