Marketing Manager Level: Journeyman | Work Location: Remote (Miami or DMV) This position is contingent upon contract award. ABOUT THE ROLE Red Carrot is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead marketing and communications teams supporting our federal government clients. This role manages client relationships and provides leadership and coaching for direct reports, while developing and managing large-scale integrated marketing programs. The role oversees client relationships, creative development, consumer outreach, and stakeholder engagement, and requires strong project management and writing skills along with a high level of attention to detail. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide coaching and oversight of the execution of the team Direct marketing objectives, programs, and policies for all client products and services Translate the marketing vision into integrated business plans, tactics, projects, and deliverables Execute market research, digital, creative, communications, and implementation planning Develop budgets, resources, and teams to execute marketing plans Review, edit, and implement strategic plans, creative briefs, client presentations, and other written communications Deliver insights on emerging trends and digital/social strategies for engaging multicultural and general market audiences Review creative concepts to ensure marketing and creative work is on‑strategy and on‑brand before client delivery Establish success metrics and KPIs, and facilitate reporting against campaign goals and outcomes Develop strong client relationships, ensure compliance with the Scope of Work, and oversee project timelines, risks, and monthly reporting MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field 3 years of experience managing advertising or marketing communications, including 2 years leading teams Verifiable agency experience, plus expertise in integrated communications, paid advertising, and brand development Strong time and budget management skills, with the ability to collaborate with others and set direction for a team Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and experienced with data-driven programs like Google Analytics Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, or hold an existing Public Trust or Security Clearance; PMP certification and knowledge of federal government contracting highly desirable Benefits at Red Carrot: Training and Development – Tuition reimbursement and professional trainings for eligible employees.
