Position Overview

The Part-Time Sales Associate will provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience for all customers. This role involves assisting with product selection, maintaining store standards, and supporting daily operations. The associate will collaborate closely with the store team to achieve sales goals and ensure smooth store functionality. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Engage with customers and assist with product selection, styling, and general inquiries.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately.
• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing tasks as needed.
• Assist with inventory management, receiving, replenishment, and organization.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
• Support merchandising and ensure products are presented according to store standards.
• Build positive relationships with customers and contribute to a fun, welcoming store environment.
• Collaborate with the store team to support daily sales and operational goals.

Required Experience/Skills

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Comfortable engaging with customers of various ages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Interest in fashion, trends, and delivering excellent customer service.

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Experience in fashion, children's retail, women's retail, or other trend-driven environments.
• Previous experience with point-of-sale systems.
• Experience with inventory, merchandising, or store operations.
• Ability to connect naturally with tweens, teens, and parents.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Additional coursework or training in retail, fashion, or customer service is a plus.
• Strong basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and development in retail operations.
