About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Division President and other senior leaders to drive revenue and growth. This role requires a strategic and creative thinker with a competitive drive, internal ambition, and a proven track record as an inspirational leader, skillful closer, and revenue builder. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, hiring and training sales staff, creating incentive programs, negotiating sales contracts, and ensuring that sales and closing goals are met. The VP will also be involved in managing community promotions, analyzing sales data, and maintaining strong working relationships with various stakeholders. Candidates for the Vice President of Sales and Marketing position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 8-10 years' of experience in sales within the production home building industry. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a VP or Director of Sales and Marketing for a national home builder is required. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and social media marketing, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills and a leadership style that is positive and high energy. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial interpretation skills are essential, as is the ability to respond effectively to customer and business community inquiries. An active Real Estate Broker License is strongly preferred.
