Systems Support Specialist I

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Systems Support Specialist I based in the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused IT professional to provide remote technical support for a wide range of systems, networks, and software applications. In this role, you will troubleshoot technical issues, assist customers with connectivity and system-related challenges, and help ensure reliable day-to-day operations. Working within a collaborative support environment, you will resolve incidents efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service and escalating complex issues when needed. You will also contribute to user training, stay up to date with evolving technologies, and support continuous operational improvement. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, technology, and helping customers succeed in a fast-paced technical environment. \n Accountabilities Provide remote technical support by diagnosing and resolving issues related to networks, connectivity, hardware, software, and business applications. Gather and analyze customer information to identify root causes and deliver effective technical solutions. Communicate with customers to troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and ensure timely resolution of support requests. Escalate unresolved or complex technical issues through established support processes when appropriate. Assist customers with software installations, driver configuration, workstation setup, and system upgrades. Occasionally travel to customer locations to provide onsite technical support when required. Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies through training, research, webinars, and professional development. Complete required documentation, reports, and company training accurately and on time. Perform additional support-related tasks to contribute to the overall success of the technical services team. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of experience in IT support, networking, systems connectivity, hardware, software, or a related technical support role. Knowledge of network installations, system upgrades, troubleshooting methodologies, and technical problem resolution. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, internet-based tools, and common business software applications. Ability to analyze technical procedures, diagnose issues, and provide effective customer-focused solutions. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple support requests efficiently. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
