Manager, Market Access Policy Implementation

AstraZeneca

Wilmington, DE

This role manages the implementation of market access policy changes across AstraZeneca's US business, translating regulatory requirements into operational plans and supporting external policy advocacy efforts. The position coordinates cross-functional workstreams to address evolving healthcare policies including MFN, Medicare rulemaking, and 340B program integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional workstreams to operationalize new healthcare policies within US Market Access operations
  • Convert regulatory requirements into operational plans and standard operating procedures with business partners
  • Analyze policy developments and prepare implications assessments for leadership decision-making
  • Represent US Market Access perspectives in external policy advocacy and collaborator engagement
  • Prepare briefing materials and policy recommendations for senior leadership alignment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare business experience
  • Understanding of market access and healthcare delivery systems
  • Experience analyzing federal and state healthcare policies
  • Cross-functional project management experience
  • Proficiency using AI tools for analysis and business deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
