The company is seeking an Associate Counsel II - Regulatory to join their team on an employment contract basis for up to 12 months. Job Overview The successful candidate will deliver accurate legal analysis and draft standard agreements to protect organizational interests and maintain regulatory adherence. The role involves conducting legal research and analysis, staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents affecting the utility industry. Key Responsibilities Conducts legal research and analysis, staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents affecting the utility industry. Drafts and reviews complex legal documents and discovery responses under the supervision of an attorney, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Assists in the development, review, and implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate legal and regulatory risks. Provides legal guidance in a number of regulatory areas such as environmental, ethics, industrial safety, and employment.
