We are seeking a highly organized, hospitality-driven Events Operations Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of private events, from post-contract planning through flawless onsite execution. This role combines event coordination, client communication, operational planning, and day-of event management to ensure exceptional guest experiences and seamless event execution.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about creating memorable events while collaborating across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Event Coordination
- Manage all event details following contract completion, ensuring smooth handoff and execution.
- Prepare and maintain BEOs, event timelines, floorplans, guest counts, and client-facing documents.
- Coordinate menus, rentals, layouts, timelines, and vendor logistics.
- Maintain accurate event information within Tripleseat and internal systems.
- Support site tours, client meetings, and event planning discussions.
- Communicate updates and revisions to all operational departments.
- Attend weekly BEO meetings and distribute event recaps to FOH and BOH leadership teams.
Event Operations & Execution
- Serve as the primary operational lead for all private events.
- Oversee event staffing, setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Create internal run-of-show documents and coordinate event logistics.
- Collaborate with culinary, service, front desk, facilities, and management teams.
- Monitor event timelines and ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Anticipate operational needs and resolve issues in real time.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and internal recaps.
- Partner with Facilities to maintain event spaces in pristine condition for tours and events.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in hospitality, events, restaurants, hotels, or luxury guest services.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Experience with Tripleseat or similar event management software preferred.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Preferred Background
- Luxury hospitality, boutique hotels, upscale restaurants, event venues, or private dining operations.
- Experience coordinating weddings, social events, corporate functions, and special events.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with culinary and service teams.
