Commissions Analyst II

Summary Responsible for maintaining the Company's commission system and processes and handling aspects of commission processing for our branch offices and field force. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Commissions Systems – Act as the first point of commission escalation, conduct trainings, facilitate compensation arrangements, manage commission data, reconcile bank deposits, import data into commission system, and ensure expected revenue from carriers and partners. Commissions Processing – Source, import, and manage commission data; reconcile entries and ensure accurate data; resolve research tasks and errors; answer inquiries; maintain accounting integrity; provide phone, email, and system support; collaborate with technology resources; offer ongoing assistance to improve the commission department. Special Projects – Collaborate with staff to advance company values, serve on relevant committees, and assist with special projects/assignments requested by management. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Business. Experience : Three (3) or more years of commission experience with an insurance carrier or securities broker/dealer, or experience calculating bonus/commission payments. Skills : Knowledge of industry procedures, standards, systems, resources, practices, and terminology. Knowledge of insurance services industries and general office processes. Understanding of federal, state, and local laws and industry regulations. Proficient in computer software, especially Microsoft Suite, MS Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Negotiation and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and attention‑to-detail abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality and company policies. Strong verbal and written proficiency in English; bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
