Position Snapshot

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures, reassuring them with clear communication and gentle guidance
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are provided on time
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring a seamless operation
• Thoroughly document imaging procedures and manage patient records using the electronic medical system
• Commit to professional development by keeping informed about the latest techniques and advancements in ultrasound imaging

Educational Background

• A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field (Associate's or Bachelor's level)
• Preferred completion from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
