Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify clients' substance use history and associated mental health conditions.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies to tackle addiction and any co-occurring disorders.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing strategies drawn from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and other effective modalities.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure cohesive care, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers.

• Educate clients' families to promote understanding and support in the recovery process, hosting family therapy sessions as needed.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans, adhering to state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to engage with clients experiencing substance use disorders, including alcohol and drug dependence, and their co-occurring mental health challenges. You will work with diverse populations, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.
