Schedule: 2 weekdays and every other weekend
Join Our Team!Moraine Court Supportive Living is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dining services team. In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals while creating a welcoming dining experience for our residents. If you enjoy working with older adults and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities- Assist with meal preparation, plating, and food service
- Serve meals according to resident dietary needs and preferences
- Wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and maintain a clean kitchen environment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and kitchen supplies
- Support inventory management and notify supervisors of supply needs
- Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure efficient meal service
- Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, families, and visitors
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in a senior living, assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Experience serving individuals with specialized dietary needs
- A positive, resident-focused attitude
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Dependability and strong work ethic
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and quality service
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of older adults
