Key Responsibilities Lead facility overseeing all production, shipping/receiving, maintenance, and other operational activities. Build a safety culture focused on diligence, best practice, and good housekeeping. Build a quality culture aligned with customer needs. Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing techniques. Establish budgets and manage costs to improve financial performance. Ensure integrity of ERP system data and manage company assets on site. Maintain good working order of all equipment and facilities. Identify and manage local suppliers for maintenance and other needs. Act as company liaison for local regulatory and compliance requirements. Oversee staffing, training, and employee development. Communicate and support adherence to all corporate policies. Be a visible, hands‑on leader within the operation, leading by example. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business‑related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Background in lumber remanufacturing, woodworking, or a similar field preferred. Knowledge of lean Six Sigma methodologies and experience leading change. Analytical thinker with strong data gathering and analysis skills. Energetic, organized, and able to manage a wide range of projects and priorities. Excellent communicator who understands the importance of “doing what you say.” Familiarity with ERP systems, scheduling, inventory, and shipping processes. Strong computer skills with experience in the Microsoft Office suite. Work Environment & Attributes Lumber remanufacturing facility with cutting and assembly equipment. Indoor office area with outdoor production and lumber yard management. Hearing protection, eyewear, and steel‑toed shoes required. Initial travel expected, including training and possible customer visits.
