Engineering Program ManagerM Force Partners is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to oversee technical programs, contract execution, project budgets, schedules, and customer relationships within an engineering and manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure contractual requirements, technical deliverables, and program objectives are achieved.The Engineering Program Manager will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, contracts, and business development teams to manage project execution from initial planning through final delivery. Responsibilities include monitoring program costs, coordinating resources, managing project risks, and maintaining clear communication with customers and internal leadership.The ideal Engineering Program Manager has a strong technical engineering background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to manage complex programs involving multiple departments, suppliers, and customer requirements. Experience within the defense or aerospace industry is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesManage engineering programs to ensure contractual requirements, project schedules, budgets, and deliverables are metCollaborate with business development teams to establish technical project plans, scope, milestones, payment schedules, and budgetsParticipate in engineering design and development activities to evaluate potential impacts on project schedules and costsCoordinate resources across engineering, manufacturing, quality, contracts, supply chain, and testing departmentsMonitor program budgets, project costs, schedules, and invoicing requirementsWork with supply chain teams to ensure materials and components meet contractual specifications, cost targets, and delivery schedulesCoordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to support timely delivery of required materials and componentsLead internal and customer-facing program reviews to communicate project progress, challenges, and upcoming milestonesOversee the development, review, and completion of engineering technical data packagesMaintain program documentation, including engineering drawings, test procedures, technical specifications, and reportsEnsure program activities and deliverables comply with contractual requirements and established project scopeSupport program audits and inspections while addressing compliance concernsCollaborate with quality assurance and testing teams to ensure deliverables meet performance and quality standardsIdentify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize schedule, cost, and technical impactsSupport continuous improvement initiatives by documenting and communicating lessons learnedBuild and maintain positive customer relationships through professional communication and proactive issue resolutionServe as the primary communication contact between customers, internal departments, subcontractors, and suppliersPrepare and deliver project status presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint for customers and internal leadershipCoordinate presentation content and project reporting across engineering, operations, finance, quality, and other departmentsTrack departmental reporting requirements and ensure project data, metrics, and presentation materials are completed accurately and on scheduleFacilitate project meetings, technical reviews, and discussions to align expectations and resolve outstanding issuesDocument and communicate meeting decisions, action items, responsibilities, and next stepsPerform additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering disciplineStrong technical understanding of engineering design, development, and project executionExperience coordinating technical projects involving multiple engineering or operational departmentsUnderstanding of project budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and contract deliverablesAbility to manage multiple project priorities while maintaining schedule and budget requirementsStrong leadership skills and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teamsExperience communicating with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholdersStrong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to identify project risks and coordinate corrective actionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prepare and deliver professional project presentations and status reportsProficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and standard business softwareAbility to develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers and project teamsPreferred Qualifications3–5 years of project engineering or engineering program management experience within the defense or aerospace industryExperience managing complex engineering programs involving manufacturing, testing, and technical deliverablesFamiliarity with Department of Defense (DoD) requirements, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and export control regulationsExperience with engineering contracts, technical data packages, and customer reporting requirementsProficiency with project management software such as Microsoft ProjectCertified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationPrevious experience coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, and cross-functional engineering teamsJob presented by M Force PartnersM Force Partners is a specialized recruitment partner connecting top-tier talent with leading organizations.
