Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office located in Paterson, NJ. The office is designed to provide a welcoming atmosphere for patients, complete with modern treatment rooms and advanced rehabilitation equipment. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. With an approximate patient volume of two patients per hour, our therapists can devote the necessary time and attention each individual deserves.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, range of motion, strength, and functional limitations to establish baselines for treatment.
• Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement customized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Hands-On Therapy & Modalities: Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation techniques to enhance patients' functional capabilities.
• Patient & Family Education: Guide patients and their families through injury prevention strategies, proper movement techniques, and home exercise programs to facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Progress Monitoring & Documentation: Regularly track patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate documentation that complies with state regulations and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At InCore Physical Therapy, we primarily serve an outpatient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neuromuscular disorders. Our approach emphasizes individualized care, enabling patients to regain their function and independence in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT) is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is necessary to ensure the competencies needed for patient success.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience

Experience specifically related to orthopedic rehabilitation, including knowledge of post-operative protocols and an ability to facilitate sports rehabilitation programs, is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems could also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
