Responsibilities
- Operate radiography, computed tomography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography equipment within credentialed competencies; perform at least three modalities regularly
- Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs; assist with image acquisition in various care areas
- Verify and test defibrillator and crash cart readiness; participate in patient safety and emergency preparedness activities
- Prepare, administer, and manage contrast agents as required for imaging procedures
- Perform mobile imaging examinations as needed; ensure proper shielding, radiation safety, and adherence to ALARA principles
- Collaborate with the imaging team to meet departmental objectives and ensure timely, accurate diagnostic results
- Maintain patient care standards and professional communication with radiologists, clinicians, and staff

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in California; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification; current CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor
- Modalities: Must have a current certification in one imaging modality and be able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET) as required in the assignment region
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred; Master’s Degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum two years of recent experience in radiology; three years’ technical imaging experience preferred
- System experience: EPIC and GE imaging experience preferred
- Skills: Ability to perform CT, X-ray, and fluoroscopy procedures, including intraoperative imaging when needed
- Eligibility: Ability to work in a hospital setting with a focus on patient safety and quality imaging
