Job Description

·                     Oversee and lead a team of 15 employees within a heavy aluminum drilling and tapping machine shop environment

·                     Manage hands-on training, equipment set-up, and quality assurance processes to ensure operational excellence

·                     Direct safety programs, production planning, and scheduling of manpower and materials to meet business objectives

·                     Serve as the primary floor-present resource for troubleshooting, resolving technical questions, and driving operational efficiency

·                     Champion and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality standards

Key Requirements 

·                     BS degree preferred

·                     Strong hands-on machine shop experience with a floor-present, engaged leadership style

·                     Proficiency in core machining operations including drilling, tapping, and cutting processes

·                     Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage production workflows, and solve technical challenges in real time
