Sr. Director, Epidemiology & RWE Analytics
Neurocrine Biosciences
Responsibilities
- Define and lead enterprise-wide epidemiology and RWE strategy aligned with corporate objectives
- Establish functional governance including methodological standards and evidence quality expectations
- Translate RWE strategy into portfolio-level evidence plans supporting development and lifecycle management
- Lead, coach, and develop Directors, Managers, and senior scientific staff with succession planning
- Partner with R&D to integrate RWE into Phase 3 trials and late-stage development programs
Requirements
- Master's degree with 12+ years pharmaceutical/biotech epidemiology experience
- PhD, PharmD, or MD in epidemiology/public health with 10+ years industry experience
- Prior management experience leading scientific teams
- Deep expertise in real-world evidence strategy and observational research methodologies
- Knowledge of regulatory, HTA, and payer evidence requirements
- Strong leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilities
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, independent strategic thinker
