Sr. Director, HEOR
Neurocrine Biosciences
Neurocrine Biosciences seeks a Sr. Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) to lead strategy development and execution of product-specific projects demonstrating healthcare value. The role involves managing HEOR function operations, collaborating across internal teams and external stakeholders, and directing evidence generation for market access.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HEOR strategies and operational plans aligned with corporate and functional goals
- Design and implement projects to generate product-specific evidence supporting value assessment and market access
- Serve as US brand lead for HEOR content and cross-functional support
- Select, mentor, and manage personnel; provide direction to subordinate managers across functional areas
- Represent Neurocrine at professional events and present data findings to internal and external audiences
Requirements
- MS in health outcomes, economics, or related field plus 13+ years pharma HEOR experience; or PhD/PharmD plus 10+ years similar experience
- Extensive managerial or leadership experience required
- Proven expertise in real-world evidence generation using claims and healthcare databases
- Demonstrated success creating US-based HTA submission materials: AMCP dossiers, budget impact models, cost-effectiveness analyses, ICER submissions
- Advanced proficiency in SAS or other statistical programming languages
- Ability to manage complex database analysis, research protocol development, and economic modeling
- Proven track record engaging US payors and HTA organizations; strong written and presentation skills
