Neonatology, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner-NewBorn Nursery

Overview IDEAL NNP OPPORTUNITY! Belmont (Charlotte Metro Region), North Carolina! Responsibilities Provide leadership in a brand new, 10-bed Level‑I Nursery at CaroMont Regional Medical Center‑Belmont opening late 2024. Perform daily rounds on newborns, attend deliveries when requested, and take call from home. Stabilize, manage, and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia when higher level care is needed. Collaborate with 4 NNPs and the sister Level III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5–6 NNPs at CaroMont Regional Medical Center‑Gastonia (7 miles away). Opportunity to do supplemental PRN shifts at the Level III NICU may be possible, but is not required. Anticipated 600 deliveries per year with an average daily census of about 5 newborns. Qualifications Current APRN national specialty certification. Minimum of a master’s degree.
