Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial $19.25 USD per hour Job Overview Human Resources Expert – a role focused on supporting Target teams and leaders in building a passionate sales force, enhancing guest experience, and driving human resources initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include: Greet guests warmly: 10ft. – be friendly, smile, make eye contact, or wave. 4ft. – greet the guest, smile, and initiate a warm, helpful interaction. Help guests find what they need or resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience. End every guest transaction with a sincere thank‑you. Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive, respectful attitude. Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring experience. Work with the HR leader to anticipate and address talent and staffing needs for each store area, ensuring the right mix of experience and skills for in‑store and digital shopping. Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders hire candidates. Support team‑member and leader training needs, advocating continuous learning. Serve as an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices. Remain approachable and available, listening to team members and collaborating with leaders to take action. Deliver all HR processes and programs to maximize engagement and minimize disruption. Support compliance policies that mitigate risk to the team‑member experience. Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance, working safely at all times and reporting hazards. All other duties based on business needs. Qualifications The role is best suited for individuals who: Enjoy interacting and helping guests and fellow team members. Are comfortable in a fast‑moving, highly active, physically demanding environment, using teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem‑solving. Can work a flexible schedule with varying hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times. Are open to training and learning as a Human Resources Expert. Have the following skills: Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members. Ability to communicate on frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment. Effective communication skills. Can work independently and with a team. Can resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Attention to detail and follow multi‑step processes. Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes. Meet basic physical requirements: handle cash register operations, lift merchandise up to 10lb. (occasionally up to 44lb.), work in varying temperature/humidity, remain mobile throughout the shift.
