Your future role at a glance Location: Indianapolis, IN Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Hospital Department/Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Schedule: PRN | Rotating How you'll make an impact in this role Accurately position patients, select parameters, and implement radiation safety. Prepare for, perform, and assist physicians with special procedures. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS (with correct markers and patient data). Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department environment. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Or credentialed from the Indiana State Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
