Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Active Rhode Island state license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred. Ability to provide skilled SLP services for dysphagia, cognitive-communication, and language disorders in an adult population preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel SLP experience preferred. Experience with electronic medical records and standardized SLP documentation preferred. Additional certifications (for example, LSVT, VitalStim) preferred.

Assignment Details

Shift hours: 08:00 - 16:30. Shift pattern: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift. VMS guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week (client may offer 30 or 35 GH). Candidate may be expected to float to other facilities as needed.
