Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Title Senior Business Intelligence Analyst Location(s) Overland Park, KS (Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week, Tuesday through Thursday) Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with strong experience in reporting, analytics, statistical analysis, and data transformation. The ideal candidate will be able to independently design and deliver analytics solutions that address business needs and translate complex data into actionable recommendations. This role will serve as a technical resource within the analytics team and will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who can use data storytelling to clearly explain insights, business implications, and recommended actions. Experience in the automotive industry, product management, and/or UX analytics is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Partner with cross-functional teams to support data-driven business decisions focused on business growth and optimization. Support product ideation and discovery by conducting research and analyses to identify opportunities and guide priorities. Collaborate with stakeholders and experimentation teams to develop experiment plans and appropriate success metrics. Perform statistical analyses and evaluate experimentation results using established experimentation best practices. Define analytics requirements and validate tagging specifications to ensure accurate data capture. Perform data validation and UAT to confirm that analytics implementations support downstream reporting and analysis requirements. Help maintain the accuracy and reliability of digital analytics data. Monitor post-launch product and business performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. Develop recurring and ad-hoc reports, analyses, actionable insights, and recommendations. Partner with reporting teams to automate recurring KPI reports and use those metrics to conduct deeper analyses. Apply advanced analytics methodologies to online user behavior and related business data. Build and maintain data pipelines, data assets, dashboards, and reports. Present findings in a clear, concise, and compelling data story that communicates the key \"so-whats\" to non-technical stakeholders. Work with leadership to translate analytical findings into recommendations and business actions. Present analysis and recommendations to stakeholders at various organizational levels. Learn and implement new analytics technologies, including web analytics platforms, SQL-based databases, and data visualization tools. Work directly with technology and analytics vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Support analytics leads and business leaders on strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring deliverables align with project milestones and timelines. Work independently while collaborating effectively with managers, analytics leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills 5-12 years of relevant Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related experience. Strong SQL skills. Strong Power BI experience. Demonstrated data storytelling and presentation skills. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Experience with web analytics tools. Ability to independently analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications Automotive industry experience. Product management analytics experience. UX or digital product analytics experience. Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, and statistical analysis. Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and analytics data assets. Experience working with external technology or analytics vendors. Work Environment Candidates must be authorized to work without employer-sponsored visa support.
