About the Engineering Maintenance Representative position The role focuses on keeping the hotel’s systems and facilities running smoothly. Key tasks include repairing, replacing, and refurbishing items throughout the property, maintaining safety and cleanliness, following the preventative maintenance calendar, handling supply levels, and stepping in for extra duties as needed. Responsibilities Repair, replace, and refurbish items around the hotel. Take responsibility for safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel. Follow the preventative maintenance calendar and identify opportunities for improvement. Keep supervisor or duty manager informed of supply levels. Assist the team by taking on additional duties when required. Qualifications Minimum of one year of maintenance or repair work experience. High‑school diploma or related vocational training. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, building‑management programs, or reporting tools such as HotSos, Opera, and Bartech. Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and preventative maintenance procedures. Physical fitness to stay on feet, bend, and kneel regularly. Excellent communication skills; friendly and approachable. Benefits and Compensation The hourly pay rate for this role is $29.00 in Washington, DC. Compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, location, and performance.
