Comrise is partnering with a modern, high-performing legal platform to identify experienced Contract Lawyers based in Italy. • Work Environment: Fully Remote (Must be based in Italy)

• Schedule: Variable; lawyers select projects from the client platform
• Assignment Type: Contract

What You’ll Do

As an independent attorney within the network, you will have the autonomy to select projects that align with your expertise. Typical engagements include:

• Drafting & Review: Review, draft, and redline SaaS agreements, vendor/supplier contracts, NDAs, and data processing agreements (DPAs).
• Strategic Advice: Advise tech clients—ranging from startups to enterprise companies—on contract terms, risk exposure, and negotiation strategies.
• Specialized Support: Lead negotiations for IP licensing, AI-specific terms (including EU AI Act compliance), and open-source compliance.
• Public Procurement: Support European public sector contracting, utilizing familiarity with the Italian Codice dei contratti pubblici and EU procurement directives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education & Licensure: Must be a qualified avvocato/avvocata in Italy, in good standing.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in commercial contracts, preferably with a background at a top-tier law firm or as In-House General Counsel at a major technology company.
• Technical Expertise: Strong experience in SaaS, cloud agreements, data protection (GDPR), and emerging AI regulations.
• Efficiency: Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines (standard 24-hour turnaround expectation for platform tasks).
• Insurance: Must maintain professional liability (malpractice) insurance.
