Westfield Pediatric Dental Group is looking for a warm, organized, and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team in Westfield, NJ! Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients and families, ensuring a welcoming and positive front office experience
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software
• Verify dental insurance eligibility and process claims, authorizations, and billing inquiries
• Collect co-pays, process payments, and maintain accurate patient account records
• Communicate treatment plans and financial options clearly to parents and guardians
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office
• Respond to phone, email, and portal inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a dental front office setting preferred
• Familiarity with dental insurance verification, billing, and claims processing
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (CareStack, OpenDental preferred)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor at all times
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or healthcare certification a plus
