Summary You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the DIGITIAL ANALYTICS INF & TECH ADVISORY GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will independently carry out work assignments planning, organization, and execution of a project involved in the development of a system or subsystem requiring the solution of both design and operational problems. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of the most complex systems. You will serve as the subject matter expert for project development, including processes, coordination, and management of the design phase of all assigned maintenance, repair and new construction projects. You will determine practicability of maintenance and repair of existing facilities and provides alternate project sites and methods or solutions as appropriate. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level or pay band (DT-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrating a comprehensive, practical knowledge of engineering and architectural concepts, principles, and practices concerned with the design, maintenance, repair, and construction of shore facilities, utilities, and equipment systems; Qualifying experience capability to plan, develop, and manage minor construction and facility projects; Developing detailed project scopes, Statements of Work (SOW), and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE); Inspecting on-site contract work for compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and safety/environmental regulations; and apply direct technical expertise in two or more relevant trades, such as mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection), electrical, civil, structural, or architectural engineering..
