Federal Account Executive - Army

Fully Remote • Paragon Micro - US Remote Worker • Public Sales Full-time Your Opportunity for Impact In this strategic role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and growing new accounts within the DoD, with a particular focus on the Army. You’ll partner with elite technical teams to design innovative IT solutions aligned with each agency’s mission priorities. Your ability to navigate the Federal contracting ecosystem, build relationships across the command structure, and close complex IT deals will drive revenue and long-term impact. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies for long-term success and revenue growth across key DoD agencies. Build deep relationships with key decision-makers across the Army, leading to expanded customer bases and increased market penetration. Collaborate with Paragon Micro’s Engineers, Solution Architects, and Global Account Managers to deliver mission-ready solutions in network modernization, data center transformation, cybersecurity, mobility, and cloud services. Lead the sales cycle from prospect to close, crafting compelling value propositions and negotiating complex multi-million-dollar contracts. Leverage our contract portfolio and strategic OEM partnerships to respond effectively to RFPs, RFIs, and sole-source opportunities. Stay ahead of tech and policy trends impacting federal IT acquisition, including supply chain, cybersecurity mandates, and modernization initiatives. Candidate Profile You’re a strategic, self-directed seller with a proven track record in Federal technology sales. You know how to turn a contract vehicle, a strong OEM relationship, and a clear mission into a closed deal — and you’re ready for the next level of ownership and recognition. Requirements 6+ years of field-based technology sales experience, with a focus on the Federal Government or VAR experience. Proven track record of exceeding revenue and margin goals while hunting for new business and expanding existing relationships within the Department of Defense and Army. Expertise in working with OEMs like Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, HP, EMC, and leveraging contract vehicles to close business.
