Unit Clerk - Telemetry - Per Diem, 8hr - Days Variable

Salary Range $38.22 - $43.92 plus applicable per diem differential Summary of Duties Responsible for performing visitor and nursing support duties and maintaining a clean and organized work area, including some clerical duties. May also be assigned other duties as required, in addition to performing the essential function of the job. Educational Requirements High School Graduate or equivalent. Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology required. Licensure/Certification Requirements American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Experience Requirement One year previous Unit Clerk experience in acute care hospital preferred. Previous clerical, receptionist, physician's office experience or appropriate medical training preferred. Special Skills or Abilities Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology required. Emotional stamina to work in a stressful environment, with good verbal communication skills required.
