Clinical Supervisor

Company Description New Directions for Veterans is a nonprofit organization serving unhoused Veterans in Los Angeles County, home to the largest population of homeless Veterans in the country. For over 25 years, the organization has supported Veterans of all genders and generations, providing tailored services that address complex needs related to homelessness. Programs include addiction recovery, mental health therapy, case management, clothing, food, legal and tax assistance, workforce development, housing placement, family reunification, and aftercare support. Services are designed to help participants achieve stable income, permanent housing, and the skills needed to lead healthy, productive lives. Role Description The Clinical Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hacienda Heights, CA. This role oversights clinical services for Veteran participants, providing supervision to clinical staff and ensuring adherence to best practices and program standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, monitoring treatment plans, coordinating case management activities, and supporting staff in delivering behavioral health interventions and therapeutic services. The Clinical Supervisor will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in case conferences, maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory and agency requirements, and contribute to program development and quality improvement. This position also involves training and mentoring team members, promoting trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, and supporting a safe, supportive environment for Veterans. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Clinical Supervision and Supervisory Skills to guide, mentor, and oversee clinical staff and ensure high-quality service delivery. Candidates should possess Applied Behavior Analysis and Psychology knowledge to support evidence-based interventions and behavioral health treatment planning. Candidates should possess Case Management skills to coordinate services, monitor progress, and connect Veterans with appropriate community and internal resources. Relevant master’s degree (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field) and current clinical licensure or eligibility for licensure in California are highly beneficial. Experience working with Veteran populations, individuals experiencing homelessness, or in community mental health settings is preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and maintain professional boundaries. Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and recovery-oriented practices, as well as familiarity with local social services and housing resources, is advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr New Directions for Veterans
