American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a hospital in Manchester, NH, requiring active telemetry experience and a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience. Requirements Active NH or Compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for Telemetry RNs Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience required Active telemetry experience required US SSN and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Responsibilities Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM 13-week contract Med/Surg unit with telemetry monitoring on a 47-bed floor (23 semi-private rooms, 1 private room) Patient population includes vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, general surgery, peripheral vascular disease, sepsis, atherosclerosis, GI bleeds, chest tubes, and arrhythmias Patient ratio is 1:5, with potential to stretch to 1:6 Equipment used includes Pyxis, Alaris Pumps, Bladder Scanners, EKGs, Atrium Chest Tubes, Dinamaps, and Vein Finder EMR: Meditech Expanse Floating required to like Med/Surg units and other hospital areas (PCU/ED) for overflow, maintaining similar patient types Unit staff includes charge nurses (CNC), RNs, LNAs, unit clerks, and Telemetry Techs Preferred experience includes surgical bariatrics, cardiac care, vascular surgery, and wound vac/dressing changes Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
