Overview

Avento Health is recruiting an experienced Director of Nursing to lead Cath Lab and related interventional cardiovascular services for an acute care hospital in Las Vegas. This position provides 24-hour leadership accountability for designated clinical areas while supporting exceptional patient care, operational performance, physician collaboration, and program growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, operational, and administrative leadership for Cath Lab and related interventional and diagnostic services.
• Maintain 24-hour management accountability for assigned clinical areas.
• Ensure patient care and departmental operations meet established standards of care.
• Partner closely with physicians, nursing staff, hospital leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Support cardiovascular program growth, development, and expansion initiatives.
• Promote quality, safety, staff engagement, and efficient departmental operations.
• Collaborate effectively with clinicians, vendors, community partners, and organizational leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Nevada Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Cath Lab management experience at the manager or director level.
• Knowledge and skills necessary to support the patient populations served.
• Computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 or more years of progressive Cath Lab leadership experience.
• Experience leading multiple cardiovascular or procedural service areas.
• Strong history of partnering with physicians to grow or expand Cath Lab programs.
• Experience with business development and program expansion.
• Demonstrated success collaborating across clinical and administrative teams.
