Details:

• CNC Machinist
• West Knoxville
• 1st Shift
• $20 - $24

Responsibilities or job duties:

• Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Make machine offsets, adjustments, and tool changes as needed to maintain quality.
• Monitor machine performance and identify any machining issues.
• Ensure all parts meet quality specifications and tolerances.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to make machine adjustments and perform tool changes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• HS diploma/GED
• Valid DL
