Temporary ADR Compliance Clerk

Mediation Compliance Assistant

Assists with monitoring compliance with mediation agreements for criminal cases.

Essential Duties

• Contacts participants regarding options to bring into compliance
• Receives written and other communication and updates mediation files
• Updates database with compliance information gathered
• Types letters, reports, and other communications
• Attends meetings, court sessions, and training sessions, as needed
• Assists with responding to inquiries
• Completes annual mediator continuing education requirements
• Performs general office duties such as making copies, filing, and answering phones
• Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

Position Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with proficiency and minimum supervision. Prefer college graduate or equivalent job related experience. Prefer individual with law enforcement and/or probation experience. Good communication skills, organization skills, ability to multi-task, ability to interact with the public, and ability to prioritize are required. Texas motor vehicle operator's license and automobile insurance are required. Must not have been convicted of a Crime of Moral Turpitude.

Prefer individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; outstanding grammar and vocabulary; knowledge of office procedures; ability to operate office equipment; proficient in a variety of computer software programs or have ability to become proficient with training; energetic, independent and self-motivated team player; follow oral and written instruction; maintain effective working relationships.
